Refund Policy

Rivix, LLC makes every effort to deliver high-quality products at a fair price and we want our customers to be 100% satisfied. We value your feedback on our products, service and support.

When first installed, RiverTools 4.0 starts up in a demo mode that is locked to particular sample data sets. The software is fully functional for these data sets, which allows you to explore the functionality or work through the online tutorials. If you have any questions about suitability of our products for your particular needs, please contact us at sales@rivix.com.

If you purchase one of our products and your credit card or check is approved, an e-mail will be sent to you with the license information required to unlock the software. Once this information is e-mailed to you, there will be no refunds given. We have this policy since it would be impossible for you to return your licensed version of our software. With a traditional retail purchase, you are able to return a physical product.

For software delivered by US Postal Service or any private courier, refunds will only be given for unopened software (and user's guide) that is returned to Rivix, LLC within 30 days of purchase. Once we have received the unopened software, the purchase price of the software will be refunded; shipping and handling costs will not be refunded to the Customer.

In rare instances and only within 30 days of purchase, if technical difficulties or platform incompatibilities prevent the software from functioning, we may, at our discretion, issue a refund. In such instances, you must have contacted us previously in writing (by letter or e-mail) with a detailed description of any problems encountered and you must have given us an opportunity to fix them.

In order to obtain a refund or exchange, you must provide Rivix, LLC with your correct e-mail address and/or mailing address. Rivix, LLC will not be liable for any claims of non-receipt of merchandise that are the result of an incorrect e-mail address and/or mailing address provided by you to Rivix, LLC. The Customer is responsible for providing correct/working address information.

Rivix, LLC reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at its discretion, or against any customer it believes is abusing this policy. Any such revision or change will be binding and effective immediately after posting of the revised Refund Policy on the Rivix, LLC website. It is your obligation to periodically review our Refund Policy for any such revisions.

Fraudulent Credit Card Charges or Fraudulent Claims
All requests to negate charges are investigated. If you make a fraudulent claim of unauthorized card usage, we will report this to the credit card services. This report may result in cancellation of your card services, put negative information on your credit report, and create possible criminal charges that may be filed against you.
